Scrubs are NOT ideal exfoliators

A light scrub used gently on the body can help remove dry skin cells and make the skin softer. Harsh scrubbing with salt/sea shells/nuts/seed casings/sand/mud are BAD for the skin causing micro tears in the skin that must be healed using vital cellular energy needed for regeneration of new cells. Damaging the skin reduces it’s barrier effect. It’s a barrier to prevent pathogen entry into the body. Why reduce it’s ability to do so? Because they have been doing it for centuries? Maybe they knew no better then? We know better now! Check out the SkinCareTV channel on YouTube
